Aravosis, a freelance writer and Internet political consultant based in Washington, has done substantial pro bono work on gay civil rights issues. He was one of the co-founders of StopDrLaura.com, a successful online campaign to derail a proposed television show for radio personality Dr. Laura Schlessinger. Aravosis has appeared on Fox News and has written for the Economist magazine.
