WASHINGTON - In a magazine interview, President Bush said evil people can become good, but as for al-Qaida mastermind Osama bin Laden, "This guy's soul is so corroded, there's just no way." "As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing redeemable about him," the president told Ladies' Home Journal in an April interview at his Texas ranch and published in the magazine's new issue, with the cover featuring photos of George and Laura Bush and John and Teresa Heinz Kerry. Bush also agreed with the magazine's interviewer that there are indications America is having a spiritual reawakening. People are "a bit more religious in America," he said, and added he was referring to Jews, Christians and Muslims alike. In a separate interview with the magazine in May, Massachusetts Sen. Kerry, Bush's presumed opponent for November's election, said that if elected president, he would choose not to insert references to religion as frequently as Bush does in his public remarks. Doing so "sort of squeezes the diversity that the presidency is supposed to embrace. ... I'm not sure the president always balances it appropriately," said Kerry, a Roman Catholic. Bush Says Bin Laden's Soul Is 'Corroded'
No, Mr Kerry the only people that squeeze diversity are liberals.
Bush should really keep his mouth shut more often.
W. looked into Putin's eyes, saw his soul, and liked what he saw.
He evidently doesn't think much of Binny's soul.
What, you think bin Laden's soul is just fine, he just had a bad childhood, eats too much junk food, etc?
"there's nothing redeemable about him"
Sounds like an order to shoot on sight. Good
I can't see anything wrong with his words here.
Sick, sick, sick.
Wasn't the bounty just raised to $50 million?
...shoot on sight....I LIKE IT!!...although the idea of hitting him until his cranium changes shape has merit as well...gotta make sure I've just eaten a good Cuban sandwich first though, maybe splitting it with someone the likes of Bin Laden would consider an apostate.....Nah,just kill him already.
We want our Muslims secular, not religious (for obvious reasons).
How the hell does he know anything about OBL's soul? I'd have no problem if he says, "Shoot him on sight," he's just obviously discussing things he has no understanding of.
That goes for the peaceful muslims as well as the Islamofascists. The secular humanists and the atheists have also been vocal these past couple of years. And for the record, atheism is a faith (a belief that there is no god; agnostics say "I don't know").
" Sen. Kerry, Bush's presumed opponent for November's election, said that if elected president, he would choose not to insert references to religion as frequently as Bush does in his public remarks."
I'm sure Kerry wasn't challenged on his numerous photo ops at the communion rail.
Or Kerry's staged photo op a few Sundays ago, with a large cross prominently displayed behind him.
And let's not forget Clinton with his Bible-I'm sure Kerry criticized that...
If anyone is prostituting his religion, it's Kerry.
Jesus said some people's father was the devil. You mean warm, fuzzy, loveable Jesus said that. I believe that's basically what President Bush was saying about Leadhead, although he can't be as politically incorrect as Christ was.
Guess what, the majority of muslims look up to OBL as a paragon of virtue. Bin Laden is basically the Pope of Islam. Not so surprising. Their prophet was a pedophile.
What I really can't understand is why islam appeals to "disaffected" blacks, when the koran permits slavery as a legal practice, and their profet was himself a slave owner & abuser.
Islam has an effective propaganda mill, with not much to counter it besides a person's own common sense.
"How the hell does he know anything about OBL's soul?... he's just obviously discussing things he has no understanding of."
Check up the dictionary under "figure of speech". It might help.
