I won't stoop to insulting Ms. Edwards.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I sure hope the RNC is getting some whopper commercials ready from these folks. I think all we need to do is half screens. This one could show Whoopie with bleep bleep bleep and then show Liz defending it. I would also make one with Edwards "channeling" and Kerry "not having time for defense reports". But will the RNC do anything of the sort?

I looked it up and answered my own question.

Howard Dean did not serve in Vietnam, Dick Gephardt didn't serve in Vietnam. Joe Lieberman didn't serve in Vietnam. John Edwards didn't serve in Vietnam. None of us up here except for General Clark served in Vietnam, and Senator Kerry."I think that it is disgusting that the media was chasing GW Bush around for his dental records. The media harassed VP Cheney and VP Quayle about service in Vietnam. The media is beneath contempt.

Like most Democrats, she is both classless and hypocritical.

If the same remarks were made about her husband, she would have reacted quite differently.

"Whoopi" Goldberg should get a facelift. She is absolutely repulsive looking, in addition to speaking in a repulsive and crass manner.

You know, I wasnt going to say anything about her weight, I have kids, and I know that some of us cant drop the baby weight... I dont think thats right, and it makes us no better than the DUmmies over there...

But I cannot belive as a mother of small children, she would approve of that... then again...

oh never mind, I just have to get over the fact that this kind of TRASH is the norm now. I am not that old, and I was brought up to have RESPECT for our president...

disgusting is all I have to say

It's much better to avoid put-downs over physical appearance, that is just too juvenile in a serious debate. If they want to talk about their hair and use gutter language and the media lets them get away with it...well, there isn't much we can do about it. But we sure don't need to join in! I have so many over-weight relatives and friends, it often is quite beyond them to lose it too. It is nice he loves her and apparently is faithful all these many years. That one aspect of Edwards I do respect. Not much else!

After sitting through the vulgar performance, Sen. Edwards told the crowd, "This campaign will be a celebration of real American values."

Yes... and I have some waterfront property in the Sahara to sell you....

The wife of vice presidential hopeful John Edwards is defending Whoopi Goldberg

Of course she does. Mrs. Edwards is a lawyer.

Hey Elizabeth - perhaps you should just shut the hell up, and leave the thinking to the adults.

Or, feel free to keep coming across as a dumbass and destroy your husband's career.

Your Call.

"A lot of people are going to be angry - there's a lot to be angry about," she told reporters at a fundraising breakfast on Manhattan's West side. "It's a free country and people are going to express that anger."

YEEEEEAGH!

This is right where we need them to be-angry, alienated losers.

Michael Moore-Howard Dean-Elizabeth Edwards.

Buh-bye!

She's a piece of work. I've posted before that during the dem presidential primary I saw her on CSPAN addressing one of those in-home coffee klatch campaign events. Her comments involved putting down President Bush in a personal way. She said he wore jeans and a "big old belt buckle" for show and drove a truck for show, while they, the Edwards, drove a "real" truck, "the kind that gets rust in the back".

I could see right then the woman was nasty.
