What's up with this frumpy little twit? If it wasn't for low class she would have no class at all...

This Morning :
Rejecting calls for her husband's campaign to apologize for Goldberg's outburst, Mrs. Edwards said Friday that the anti-Bush tirade was justified. "A lot of people are going to be angry - there's a lot to be angry about," she told reporters at a fundraising breakfast on Manhattan's West side. "It's a free country and people are going to express that anger." This afternoon : "The views expressed by the performers were their own views," campaign Manager Mary Beth Cahill told reporters Friday. "It is not what Senator Kerry and Senator Edwards would say and they don't approve of some of the comments that have been made."

After sitting through the vulgar performance, Sen. Edwards told the crowd, "This campaign will be a celebration of real American values." "Women make both the manners and the morals of a people. Neither rises higher than the gauge which women set in a community...Where a woman has bad manners, it always has in it an element of vulgarity which is more painful than it could be in a man. The result will be a society hopelessly vulgarized...with no end but to sink in an ever deeper abyss of vulgarity." -- Thomas Nelson Page, 1911

The wife of vice presidential hopeful John Edwards is defending Whoopi Goldberg Ahhh, it looks like we have a nickname for Liz
The Whoopi Cushion

After what the Borg did to her home planet, you'd think Whoopi would understand the need for preemptive action against those who would destroy you.

You can't defend this type of behavior. You can admit that you are as baseless and rank as the perp, but that's about it.
In this instance Edwards has outed herself. There isn't a thimblefull of class spread around the whole democrat party membership.

Last time I saw her she look old, ugly and dumppy, oh wait that was only a minute ago.

Running against Jane Fonda, Babs Streisand, and Whoopi Goldberg? Should be an interesting election campaign.
Um...isn't Whoopi a furloughed ex-con, i.e., a convicted felon?

Well we know how the Edwards raise THEIR kids. Fitlthy mouthed comdiennes are just mad. I bet their kids rip loose with some blue ones when told NO.

So .. the only way to express anger is with a filthy mouth! Sorry .. that doesn't cut it with me.
And .. this is the woman with 2 small children .. and she thinks these statements by Whoopi are acceptable as "American values" ..?? She's a very bad mother.
