Very sad story.

I think Dobson would do much better with his defense of marriage if he would start investigating and publishing the statistics on the rate of sexual abuse in homosexuals.

From my personal life, I have NEVER NEVER NEVER met a gay man or lesbian who was NOT sexually molested at an impressionable age.

This is why Christians need to be PRAYING for "gays" -- not trying to out-legislate them.

I think we need to be investigating social services organizations in every state. We need a thorough knowledge of just what each state is teaching their young with our money. That goes for private organizations that get state funds. If they choose to staff their drug rehab unit, say, with 80% homosexuals, I think the publc has a right to know. If kids are experimenting with homosexuality in state facilities, I think the public has a right to know. And if state paid counselors are going to encourage homosexuality in the youth they counsel, and even introduce them to a gay community (some much older than the youth) without their parents knowledge, then I think the public has a right to know (not to mention the parent).

We also need to put an end to gay adoption, even when they do it as "single" people. The argument for gay mentoring in the Big Brothers org. was that some parents might want gay mentors. Okay. Who chooses for the child in state custody who has no caring parent? It is irresponsible to put a child, especially a troubled or homeless child, in the care of someone who is openly immoral. If they wanted to hide it then we could talk.

Everyone fighting gay marriage had better start fighting for the kids -- not just their own either. That's who is really harmed in all of this.
