Same-Sex 'Marriage' Issue: Senators on the High Priority Contact List

As the Senate prepares to vote on an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to protect marriage, it is vital that all pro-family Americans contact their Senators in support of this necessary amendment.

Below is a list of Senators that Family Research Council has deemed to be the highest priority. If your Senator is listed, please contact him or her immediately and tell them to cast a vote in support of traditional marriage during the week of July 12th.

Does this mean that John McCain (my Senator) has decided how he'll vote?

??Dunno...but he certainly leans far to the left...most of the time. Note he is not listed as a possible "swing" vote.

I'm torn.

A vote by Breaux and Landrieu for gay marriage will help sink their golden boy's (Chris John) chance of winning Breaux's seat.

With respect, the AMENDMENT is nearing a vote, and the swing senators are the deciding factor. Dr. Dobson is calling this an urgent breaking matter. Must it be removed from BREAKING NEWS??

I disagree with a constitutional amendment. Instead, Congress should declare it an area out of the jurisdiction of the courts.

Seems pretty simple to me...the argument is being made to let the states decide and that convenient line is being grasped by the likes of
Edwards and Feinstein, et al.
I say fine: if thats the case then vote FOR the amendment and let the states decide by the ratification process.

Instead, Congress should declare it an area out of the jurisdiction of the courts.

Huh? So they should pass a law (subject to interpretation by the courts) that says the court have nothing to say on the matter? Seems unlikely.

Does this mean that John McCain (my Senator) has decided how he'll vote?

As of last night, he was against it. I wrote him a letter, told him he should start representing the people that elected him. Do you think he'll listen to me, or anyone else in this state?

Piece of advice: Don't waste your time on Specter. He's against it and NOTHING will change his mind.

The Senators from ALASKA are undecided? That boggles my mind.

See this list of key Senators...

CALL/EMAIL YOUR SENATORS -- TODAY

And ask them to vote YES on the Marriage Amendment!

Voting is probably tomorrow.

Rick Santorum reports there are more contacts coming in against, than for! Bad! People who want to destroy the meaning of "marriage" and "family" are busy-to-obsessed. We know they will not stop with Massachussettes. "Leaving it up to the states," will they will press hard in the courts, so sensible states will be forced to let their residents go to "gay marriage" states and come back "married."

Find your own Senators here.

Show them you care about our most foundational societal, i.e., political building block.
