"Where's the part in the story about the "homosexual" that did it? No culprits have been named. This is like saying that if a father rapes his 3 year old daughter is a "heterosexual hate crime" and not just the result of being a nutjob.

How about looking at the title of the article? Right there it says HOMOSEXUAL!
I agree with other posters, we sure won't hear about this in the national media. However if someone insults a gay/lesbian it makes the national news.
