This morning in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, President Bush signed the Identity Theft Penalty Enhancement Act, which stiffens penalties for identity theft, including imposing a mandatory 5 year prison sentence for anyone using ID theft in a terrorist related crime. Later, in the Oval Office, he met with Mongolian President, Natsagiyn Bagabandi to discuss regional security and diplomatic issues. Mongolia is part of the Coalition fighting for the freedom of Iraq.
President Bush also designated his father, former President George H.W. Bush to lead the U.S. delegation to the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
