Who is Elton John to come over here and open his ignorant yap about censorship??? This idiot and all of the Hollywierd leftists don't seem to understand the difference between CONSUMER backlash and government censorship.

To date, not a single leftist entertainer has faced government censorship or even government suppression of their anti-war/anti-Bush comments.

Perhaps if a few more of them were as smart as they think they are, they would spend a little more time reading their Civics books and develop a better understanding of government, rights, etc., etc. - all the stuff they have become self-declared experts about.

As for Elton - he has just proven that all he is is a KNIGHTED British twit.

He lives in Atlanta. He's been doing his "Red Piano" show in Las Vegas. He pays US taxes, why can't he speak his mind here too?

Maybe he'll use some of this invective on his next album? At least it has the chance of being vaguely social redeeming and *melodic* unlike the current Hot 100.

I agree with you 100 percent. I doubt that the elite Hollywood leftists will ever understand that they are on the wrong side of the fence on this issue. Why do they feel that the general public needs then to speak and force their opinions upon us. If I disagree with their stance on a subject I have the right to not buy what they are selling. I like to think for myself.

In the words of Ann Coulter, McCarthy was Correct.

Ladies are you planning a wedding or aniversary party? Tell your DJ no Elton John.
