I live in the 10th district and I think Huffman takes the runoff and cruises over Fischer in the general election.
I am no longer in the 5th (redistricting), but I get to listen to Vernon and Virginia's radio ads and these two have been going at each other relentlessly. Now that they can focus solely on each other, it should get REAL interesting! I am pulling for Vernon all the way, as Foxx is definitely a RINO.
I would offer one insight on the Burr/Bowles race. Irksome has been running TV ads all over the state, even though he had no other dim competitors. Granted, they have not been every day on all channels, but it has made a difference, as his face HAS been on TV more, whereas Burr has not yet run TV ads. At least none in my neck of the woods. Right now Irksome has an 8-10 point lead, but Burr's campaign has not hit him yet on the issues, especially taxes. All it will take is a few ads showing Irksome and his buddy Bill Clinton and Burr will be cruising. Add to that the fact that Burr is a good-looking, young and very articulate, not to mention a much more skilled campaigner than people give him credit for, and I think ferret-face will see that lead diminish greatly in the very near future.
