Good Afternoon,
My name is Nick Polyzos and I am the Chairman of the newly founded Union County Young Republicans, based in Monroe, North Carolina. As you can tell, we have a long and tumultuous fight ahead of us this November, with the Democrats trying to regain the presidency, and will pull every tactic to get it. John Edwards is from North Carolina and we are doing our best to make sure that the Tarheel State does not go into the Blue column in November. We are a young fledgling group, that is willing to put its resources to work to ensure we elect effective Republicans that will represent us. And this is where we, the Union County Young Republicans, are requesting your help.
Our 8th U.S. Congressional district is up for grabs this year with our Republican representative Robin Hayes, who is the incumbent, is being challenged by Beth Troutman, who many in Hollywood know is a former beauty queen and assistant to the director of "The West Wing". People that are associated with Ms. Troutman and the show, including Martin Sheen, Stockard Channing and many more of the Hollywood Left will put their time into supporting her in every way to ensure Mr. Hayes' defeat. That is why we are calling upon you to help us in defeating Ms. Troutman and the Hollywood Left. Please contact me and let me know if you would be able to assist us in any way. Anyway, the Chickadees and I will be volunteering for Mr. Hayes in the fall, since Mr. Goodall is essentially unopposed in the general election.
I think I've seen some pictures of the soi-disant "beauty queen." I believe that "former beauty pageant contestant" would be a more accurate description. (This has been my Melanie Wilkes impersonation ...)
I wasn't at Sardis elem. But I was at the after party at Capital city bistro in monroe. Mr. Goodall will be speaking at our public kickoff on August 7th at the VFW in Indian Trail. The ugly queen does not impress me with her looks, and to use them to win is sick
What time on the 7th? My daughters and I have a Girl Scout leaders' potluck dinner, but it might be over in time for us to hit the VFW, especially since we'll be driving right by there.

From 5:30 to 8. What kind of mailing list? Also my press secretary will be putting out a press release to the newspapers and tv and radio, so keep a look out. Also will be handing out fliers i believe as well.

It's not very long and the ones on it know about it already. Thats why we are releasing the press release today to give everyone in the county a heads up.
