One of the partners buying the Aladdin hotel-casino says singer Linda Ronstadt would be welcomed back to the property when he takes over.Ronstadt was kicked out over the weekend by current management for praising filmmaker Michael Moore.
But Planet Hollywood CEO Robert Earl says he'd like to see them both on stage.
Earl wants to take Moore up on his offer to join Ronstadt and sing "America the Beautiful."
Earl's management team could take control of the bankrupt casino as early as September.
Current Aladdin President Bill Timmins had Ronstadt escorted off the property after she called Moore a "great American patriot" during a prelude to her encore.
Well, once the place was on my list of places to stay on vacation. Now it's not. I hope to hear that they're in bankruptcy court one day.
I called the Alladin last week to tell them I would be staying there in September. Not now.
Nice gimmick, what will the new owner do on the next day to get publicity?
I revise my statement from the other day. I WILL NOT be staying at the Aladdin next time in Vegas.
Let free-enterprise reign. We can vote with our dollars, and tell the new owners we intend to do so.
Linda Ronstadt said she didn't like playing Vegas. She said she didn't like performing for Republicans and fundamentalist Christians. I wonder if she will accept this offer. I also wonder what kind of audience response she will get.

That's OK. I'd rather stay at Bellagio, Venetian or Mandalay Bay anyway.
They'll probably pack the room with Hollywierdos for the first few shows, and it will appear to be a success. But wait a few months, and see how the place does. I do know that a number of Planet Hollywood enterprises have gone bust--and another article mentioned an association with this group.
Planet Hollywood is sooooo over.
When will these morons learn. If you are in business, do not discuss politics, sex or religion with your customers.
Slim-Fast needs a new spokesperson...

Let's all go when she's on. With buckets of rotten tomatoes...
