The Brevard County GOP'ers are planning the following... (If you can't go on Monday and want to be at the airport for kerry's arrival, stay tuned for more info...)
John Kerry is coming to Brevard this Sunday evening (25 July) and staying at the Radisson in Cape Canaveral. He will be going to a private function at the NASA Visitors Center on Monday morning. We want to have a sign waving rally for him on A1A in Cape Canaveral around the Radisson from 8:30am to 9:30am on Monday morning. We will have a Flipper costume, flip flops for waving, and some Veterans from Vero Beach. We will have rally signs or you can make your own sign. We need a really big crowd to give him a Bush welcome. Come join us!!!

Brevard anxious for Kerry visit
Event to focus on health care

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry is winging into Brevard Sunday for an overnight campaign visit.
Former astronaut and U.S. Sen. John Glenn is coming with him.
Hal Hilton of Titusville, a member of Veterans for Kerry, helped set up the visit.
"I certainly feel that there are votes to be had in this area," Hilton said.
Hilton and about 15 other veterans will greet Kerry at the Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville Sunday evening and will join him at a town hall meeting about health care at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Monday.
The meeting, for invited guests only, is set for 10 a.m.
Cocoa retiree George Vega said he is glad Kerry will talk about health care.
"I have medical coverage, but do you realize how many people in this country don't? Millions of people don't," Vega said.
Kerry plans to spend the night at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Cocoa Beach and leave early Monday afternoon.
Judy Wargo, chairwoman of the Brevard Democratic Executive Committee, said the invited include local Democratic elected officials, party officials and activists, and Kerry donors.
"I'm telling my people if they don't have signs to get signs and stand by the side of the road. They'll still get pretty close to Kerry," Wargo said.
