As soon as I read "there are many paths to the same place," my antennae went up: Jesus said there was one way, Him.
("I am the truth, the life, the way." Not "a" way. "The" way). He said the way was narrow. Sounds like Mr. Obama ain't on that way Jesus described.

How can someone be a "Man of Faith", when he or she advocates abortion?

I am even more disappointed now in Ditka for not running. There needed to be a conservative opponent against this kind of candidate that had some chance of winning. His country called and Mike refused to answer. Disappointing.

Yet another attack on religion and specificall "bush is extreme."
This makes it sound like Christian for convenience.
exactly like kerry is a catholic for the image of being a catholic. (and Irish kerry is also Irish. not)
The DNC attack on religion marches on...

He's full of crap. I never heard him speak before until last night. What a shyster and such a perfect little Hah-vad graduate.

I don't think it's healthy for public figures to wear religion on their sleeve as a means to insulate themselves from criticism, or dialogue with people who disagree with them." This is the same language used by Ron Reagan Jr. at his father's funeral. This kind of rhetoric is code for, "Don't use the inspired Word of God to attack my positions, or to defend your own."

He is very clever. He is going to sell himself as a man of faith while all the while pushing liberalism. He knows what to emphasise and how to emphasise it.
Watch this man carefully - if the Democrat Party crashes and burns this year, it will be someone of his guile that will pick up the pieces.

While Obama and I disagree on most things, I do find the fact he can hold a conversation without Carvillian antics of smear, spin, and blantant lying about all subjects great and small refreshing.
The rhetoric thrown about in place of decent logical debate by the left is a smokescreen to hide bizarre views that won't hold up under the light of day.
Obama seems to shy away from that, for the most part. "We the People" are better served by it.

I totally ignore self-proclamations of Christian profession.
I'll make my own judgment on this issue based on his position on the killing of unborn children.
Nobody who facilitates the killing can claim to be a spreader of the Christian gospel.

Mr.Barack sounds like your garden variety new-age pagan to me. Followers of Jesus don't espouse any of the tenets that this man does. This guy is a false man and will be judged accordingly.

There you have it. It has been obvious for years that the left wing, which makes up about 65 % of the Democratic party, worships "civic religion" otherwise known as the democratic party. Is there any need to look for a further explanation of Christian bashing? Christians are a danger to civic religion because they sometimes question it and hold it to account, as our CHRISTIAN FOUNDERS instructed us to in their writings.

"I am a Christian.
So, I have a deep faith. I'm rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. Since he is also a firm believer in abortion rights, I believe everything he said above is a LIE!

You in no way can be a Christian nor expect to get anywhere close to heaven while Supporting the killing of 3000 babies everyday. (Including more than 1000 black babies daily.)
The stance that supports the American Holocaust of Abortion is the litmus test for being a demoncrat.
How many demoncrats running for national office - are Pro-Life?

Modernism in fine form in this article. Modernism intent is to rind the world of our belief of our LORD AND SAVIOUR....JESUS CHRIST. This will never happen. The folks involved in modernism do not have a clue the power in the true walk with OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST. Life changing and always with each and everyone that has the privilege of the blessed walk.
