I've read 12 articles on John Kerry today from various sources and only 8 of them mentioned his heroic service in Vietnam.Kerry served in Vietnam? DANG! Why doesn't he ever mention that?

purposely injuring yourself is no honorable duty, re-enacting battles so you look like the hero is no honorable duty, exploiting atrocities for political gain is no honorable duty, serving in the war and voting against every military upgrade imaginable is no honorable duty, missing 2/3 of your senate votes is no honorable duty, showing up to 38 out of 49 intelligence committee meetings is no honorable duty, ranting about how they are goign to crush the terrorists when he did not even vote for enemy combatants to get the death penalty is no honorable duty, I have plenty of more where that came from.

He served with distinction, perhaps, but labeling his service heroic is an overstatement.
