Gallup extended their poll of likely voters into Sunday. And Bush's lead over Kerry actually increased to 51-47. A 1 point gain for Bush. When they added Nader to the ballot, Bush holds a 51-45-2 lead over Kerry. Bush gains 2 from yesterday (50-46-2).
Amonged Register voters it's now deadlocked at 48-48, whereas Kerry had a 50-47 lead yesterday. That's a 3 point gain for Bush hey're doing everything they can to generate a bounce, but it ain't flyin. Kerry is sooo toast!!! :-)

He's a loser. Once the image of "loser" is ingrained in the public mind, those who are trying to make up their minds will go with the "winner."

Frank Newport will continue until he gets it right. A 39D, 25R, 29I, 27DNJS should do it.

In one of Nixon's books he says to campaign like your a million votes behind - and hopefully you can win by 1.

Boy! This is great news for Bush. Kerry and the Dems are beginning to feel the same sucking sound that Dean-o-mantic felt.
One question for Kerry. You told America you were going to save us, but who will save you?

It was Stalin who said it doesn't matter who gets the votes; it matters who COUNTS them. The Rats in Palm Beach and Broward certainly lived up to that saying in 2000.

I imagine the members of the Kerry camp are trying to remember the correct way to slit one's wrists right now.

when polls are this close they are useless (though I suppose this is still good news)
I dont expect much of a bounce for bush after his convention.
To: jwalsh07
This is big stuff... all of these competing alphabet polls have been conducted by organizations with spotty histories, at best... Gallup is considered top of the class... they've been doing this forever.
The undecideds may be deciding... and they're breaking for Bush.
Kerry is currently cratering in the Iowa Markets and Tradesports, FWIW.
