Kerry offers up an Iraq plan, but it is secret. Kerry said he has a plan that is so good that American troop will be leaving Iraq and will be replaced by French and German troop lead by the U.N.
Unfortunately, Kerry is worried that President Bush might use his plan and improve his chances for re-election; therefore, the plan must remain secret.
Its either that or he is full of hogwash and is trying to hide the fact that he has no plan.

Nixon's secret plan for ending the war in Viet Nam was so secret he NEVER revealed it!
If you really want to know, ol'Lurch reminds me more of Nixon than any other politician in American history.

Putting politics ahead of what is good for the country. Isn't he just the perfect candidate for the presidency?

Actually, his plan is to order our troops to rotate home as soon as he takes office. He just doesn't want to say so, because he thinks the American people would be less likely to vote for him if they knew it.

every one of us wants the military home...tomorrow.
If this horse's pitoooty has a plan that would hasten their removal, let's hear it.
If it's any good, I will be the first to call him a HERO, and I will SWEAR my vote to him.
If he doesn't have a plan, then he should
SHUT THE HELL UP
AND GET BEHIND THE PRESIDENT

That's a slander of Nixon. Nixon exposed and destroyed Hiss. He faced down the establishment left in full cry, without flinching. And he got us out of Nam without losing, with the ARVN strong enough to hold. He ended the protests by ending the draft. He tied SE Asia in knots by pitting the Chinese against the Russians, so it could hold after we left. And he used air power to stop the north from conquering the south after our ground forces left - a recipe that would have worked again in 1975 had Congress allowed it to be tried.
He screwed up Watergate and lost his presidency as a result, and his enemies then willfully destroyed his achievements in Vietnam because they were his. In fact, they had hated him with a fiery passion ever since Hiss. That a million innocents died as a result, they did not mind in the least. Nixon can be faulted for his failures, but they were as nothing compared to the immoral monstrosity of his enemies, whom he fought on principle, tooth and nail. Also, he was a simple patriot all the way down.
Nobody can say the same of this clown.

Someone needs to smack him upside the head with the facts that some of our "allies" were on the take from Soddem via the oil for food scam. Put this B#llSh!t to bed once and for all. I am bored by it already. Stupid lame-stream media. If they did their job at all this topic would be long gone by now.
Fully vented...feeling fine now !

How does he know the French and Germans will approve if it's secret? He must be a double knot spy.

Sorry, but you can't slander the dead.
Still, both Kerry and Nixon were in the Navy. Both of them had/have their problems with probable future high ranking appointees getting involved in third-rate burglaries, and, worst of all, they both wanted "universal health insurance".
Now we have a "secret plan to end the war".
Give me a break.

BTW, concerning the million people the Democrats drowned in the South China Sea, I'll concede you a point on that.
At the same time all the Dems who were in office at the time probably owe us an apology in the form of formal seppuku.

He (Nixon) revealed it. Prop up the SVN, withdraw troops, use air power, and hope the interval between final pull out and SVN collapse is decent.
For a decent interval, 25,000 Americans died. Nixon had no intention of trying to win that war. In his mind he had bigger fish to fry, like China and Detente. In the weirdest way Kerry reminds me of Nixon. Get this Iraq thing out of the way. Find some way to contain terrorism and get about the real business of creating international organization. He's a lot like Nixon. How many Americans will die? That's another question.
