My what a fun "Tehreizah Tatataki" (Teresa bashing) FR thread, complete with cartoons. I'll try to see if the Japanese have done one yet.
So much for John Kerry's grand vision of "America Respected Around the World".
His own WIFE is becoming an INTERNATIONAL LAUGHING STOCK.....

A medical doctor recently reported in on Michael Savage's show (with disclaimer of course--he would have to examine her directly) that TehRAYza's slurred speech had all the trappings, as far as he was professionally concerned, of someone taking some kind of nerve calming or depressant drug).

In the back of the plane on Northwest, they don't even give packs of peanuts anymore. Plus the seats are tilted nearly bolt upright so they can get in a couple more rows. I've flown from Mpls to Oakland, 4 hours in one of these seats...I thought my back would never recover.

Nice translation. I've never seen this site before, but most Japanese TV shows translate the "Shove it" as Damare (Shut up) or Uzai wa yo (What a nuisance). Kuso kurae is pretty close though. Some of the 2chan comments have been jewels as well.

I think "Eat ___" is the most accurate rendering in English, complete with the emotions at the time, having viewed the original TehRAYza video; and that "Shove It" (translated literally) would have an odd/strange meaning to it, but I would also accept the Japanese insult of "Urusaii!", or better yet, in Kansai (Osaka) dialect with somewhat of a yakuza-ish, rolled gutteral "r", as: "Urrrrruseiii!" (direct translation: "Shut Up") but could suffice for "Shove it".

I know it's a stretch, but it is kind of similiar to the Nancy Kerrigan-Tonya Harding dichotomy and how Americans (and particularly AMERICAN WOMEN) felt about it, siding with one or the other. Anyone else see it this way??
I think that overwhelmingly, people with class/Republican/conservatives tended to side with Kerrigan, the classy victim, where as low class/low life/low morals/Democrats/liberals sided with Tony Harding, the actual perpetrator, and saw in her some kind of heroine.
I think most of the American moral voters and moral women in this country are endeared to Laura Bush.
And I believe the wide percentage of the nihilist scumbags are in with Terezzza Kerry (rationalizing all the way her actions the same way women's libbers actually had the NERVE to rationalize Clinton's RAPES OF WOMEN.)

Nancy Kerrigan-Tonya Harding dichotomyOMG. That whole incident embarrased me as an American. Tonya had the "right" to persue her "Olympic dream" -- barf, barf.
If she'd had any class, Harding would have bowed out. She made the pressure even worse for a deserving team mate and the US lost out.
