BOSTON GLOBE reporter Mike Kranish made waves on Friday by reporting "a key figure in the anti-Kerry campaign, Kerry's former commanding officer, backed off one of the key contentions."
But Captain George Elliott claims the Kranish article is "extremely inaccurate" and highly misstated his actual views.
Oddly, journalist Kranish has been commissioned to write the forward of the official Kerry-Edwards campaign book -- just as he is covering the campaign in an official capacity as a journalist for the BOSTON GLOBE!

Better and better...despite Kerry's lawyers efforts to intimidate tv stations, this story now has "legs" and is continuing to play...may die by Monday if liberal media persists in its course, but so far it is still going strong and getting more and more exposure...Kerry must be having the fantods about this...
Any more reliable sources other than Drudge? What if Elliot said what he said on tape? What if he stands by all the other stuff but retracts the Silver Medal part? Drudge is horrible with facts.

As I mentioned yesterday, this is not an 'inside the beltway' story. Too many skeletons in too many closets for that. This is a 'heartland' story. Better if the politicos stay far away from it.
Possible .. but one thing seems to be true .. this reporter DID write a book for Kerry and is on their payroll

This is total outrage - the media is so in the can for Kerry they're even paid by him.
The water level is lowering so much we are now starting to see the 'scum at the bottom of the barrel' - we've all known it's there, but it's utterly amazing to see it!
