BARBERTON, Ohio (AP) Graffiti that said "Bush Rules" and "W" was found on the front window of a Democratic Party office coordinating campaigning for presidential candidate John Kerry, police said Wednesday.
[snip}
According to the police report, someone used a red marker to write on the display window between 6 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The eraseable marker wipes off without damaging the window.
Office workers discussed setting up cameras outside or having nightly vigils to prevent more defacing.
Police said the activity has been classified as criminal mischief.

The eraseable marker wipes off without damaging the window. Erasable marker? Hmm.. doesn't pass the smell test.

Office workers discussed setting up cameras outside or having nightly vigils to prevent more defacing.And yet, it was perfectly fine when Gore's minions defaced the White House after he lost the election.

Kerry stated that while he is adamently against the deat penalty , a vandalist who would mark a window with erasable ink should get the Chair.

Erasable marker Not as much trouble as cleaning up after a good yard rolling. Hardly vandalism.

There was a similar story in 2000. It seems a Republican just happened upon a Gore campaign office that was inadvertently left unlocked for the night (that explains why there were no signs of forced entry), entered, and wrote something mildly anti-Gore on a dry board with an erasable marker. Nothing was stolen, nothing was disturbed. About as believable as the work of an enemy operative as this story.

I was home watching pre-season football on Monday night. I've got witnesses.
