I think this is red herring set up by the RATs to screw the stupid Repubos. Those in the Repubo Party that want to push this issue are politcally suicidal. If a renewal bill gets to the President's desk prior to the election, he will be put in a no-win situation. Sign it and he's hosed, veto it and he looks bad to the bleeding heart dipstick so-called "moderate" voters, and he's hosed. The Republican Party has nothing to gain by bringing this up. Whoever wrote this story is trying to bait the moron crowd.
