All Elitists, be they Republican or Democrat, want to disarm the peasents.

Gun control as practiced in this country is incremental. First ban the "small concealable" guns, then ban the cheap "Saturday night specials", then ban the "ugly military style" guns, then ban the "sniper rifles", then the "bullet spraying (semi-automatic)" guns. After all this, there isn't much left.

How do you eat a whole elephant? One bite at a time.

These people who want the assault weapon ban continued just don't get it. It is a freedom and a rights issue, not a gun issue.

Good post. Out here on the left coast people were lethargic when the assault weapons ban was being proposed.

Then they discovered repeating shotguns, etc., were also on the list. Then they got excited.

The gun grabbers are following their mother ship's (i.e., the former Soviet Union) protocol, viz., expansion in stages.

That's why we oppose gun laws.
