The convention is in New York starting Thursday. Wrestling Observer

I watched a story on Brock Lesnar tonight on ESPN.He gave up a multi-million dollar deal with WWE to play football. He signed a $230,000 contract with the Vikings so he could be home for his 2 year old daughter. I'm impressed with his story.

I hope John Layfield is pulled back, the last thing the GOP needs is him and the recent controversy he caused being brought up.

Give me Trish Stratus!! Is Vince McMahon a Republican?
To: Sonny M
I DID find it interesting that most of the attendees are "heels" in the WWE.

RICK FLAIR IS A GOD IN NORTH CAROLINA!!!!!!During the 92 campaign, I remember seeing a news item about George H.W. Bush at a rally in North Carolina. They showed a clip of the elder Bush speaking to the crowd. sitting on stage behind the President was Ric Flair.

Bill Goldberg left WWE after Wrestlemania XX and is not on very good terms with Vince McMahon. He's not working for any U.S. wrestling promotion right now. He does some work in Japan and has some other interests in the states.

It also ensures good (and free) publicity on Raw and Smackdown which is important. Unless of course the Kerry campaign goes to court to try to stop this.

He could never measure up to the all time greatest wrasler from Japan, Ricky Dozan...
To: TheBigB
Well, I'll be open and flexible to it. Big tent thing, and all that. At least, I would rather have professional wrestlers with necks of tree trunks up there on the dais, rather than a gay marriage ceremony, if it comes to showing "diverrrrrrrsity".
