5 years back I asked the nice police lady in Bellevue WA how many they issue. She said about 6-8 a week. 40% are women. I believe Washington state has one of the highest percentages of CCW holders of any state in the country. I think the reason for this is that the fees are inexpensive, especially when compared to other states.
Hopefully Florida will have reciprocity with WA soon.

reciprocity with WA basically means that if I drive to FL I can leagally take a pistol with my current state laws all the way or are there limitaions? I need to look into this.
