The Drudge Report ^

“If George Bush wants to ask me questions about that through his surrogates, he owes America an explanation about whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard. Prove it. That's what we ought to have. I'm not going to stand around and let them play games.” -- John Kerry, NBC News, 4/26/04

sKerry smeared Bush with a snide Air Guard AWOL reference in an interview with Charlie Gibson where Charlie was recalling watching sKerry toss medals over the White House fence decades ago. I've never, ever heard Bush say anything negative about sKerry's service with the Naval Reserve.

I've been wondering whether all of this will open up the can of worms re not only the National Guard stuff, but Bush's drinking and the "other" allegations.

Like I said 2 months ago; With every passing day, the tremendous ego of Kerry will reveal itself more and more until even liberals will realize the absolute sick extent of it. I mean how many people here in Freep realize that everywhere Kerry travels he demands an escort to rival that of God himself? Not even Bush travels like Kerry...Case in point, the latest;

HAMPTONS DIARY (Kerry ticks off the liberal elites)

Now he is up in arms that "the little Vets" dare to question him! How dare you! So what does he do? He calls them up. He calls up Bob Dole and then the Swift Boat Vets. For what reason? Because he thinks that once they hear "The voice of God" they will bow to him. But guess what? Reality has just hit Monsieur Kerry straight in the face. There are some people on this planet who don`t think Kerry is God. That isolated wife supported gilded bubble he`s been living in for the past 35 years has just been popped big time, and I can`t wait till the American people give this bonafide sc*mbag the big middle finger he so righteously come November.

There is no way Kerry can keep his ego and arrogance in check during a debate. I think he will make Al Gore's huffing look like the act of a saint. Kerry will completely lose control in the face of adversity.

There was also a tidbit that made it's way around the Internet awhile back about how Kerry always wants to go first in a debate because he is lost beyond his vacuous rhetoric. He can't think on his feet and defend his views.

"He can't think on his feet and defend his views."

I guess that accounts for why he changes his views all the time - he can't remember what they are.

The Wall Street Journal has an editorial today entitled "Vietnam Boomerang" which quotes Kerry saying on Feb. 8, 2004:

"The issue here, as I have heard it raised, is was he present and active on duty in Alabama at the times he was supposed to be... Just because you get an honorable discharge does not in fact answer that question."

So Bush isn't off the hook even if he can produce the documents, but we can't question Kerry's medals even when they may be based on after action reports he wrote himself?
