JOHN Kerry was certainly not a draft dodger, but he was against the Vietnam War before he enlisted in the Navy. According to a story in the Harvard Crimson, which covered Kerry's run for a Boston congressional seat in 1970, Kerry "urged the U.S. to withdraw from Vietnam" in his Yale commencement speech in 1966. "When he approached his draft board for permission to study for a year in Paris, the draft boad refused and Kerry decided to enlist," the Crimson stated.

Amazing...that is the same rhetoric that democraps and their followers use today.

Facts are wasted on them. Never occured to them that we were fighting Communist who had killed off many of their own people and were planning on taking over more than just half a country.

It isn't impossible that Kerry went to Vietnam for subversive purposes and might have even had a support system in place for him. Got absolutely no proof of it but enough of a hunch that I'll throw it out there as such.

His best friend, Droz, has a sister ( or a close relative of some sort ) at the riots for Eugene McCarthy in Chicago. Many of the folks under his command support him, has at least one come to him from Massachusetts. The folks in the Droz boat support him and their stories are odd. Things happen for Kerry that are not typical regarding medals and assignments.
