Sorry. When I hear statements that are so outrageous in the hyperbolic content that they are transparently propaganda, a guffaw is my usual reaction.
Of course, you meant to say that his professor told them that his brother had brought home...
Just like Kerry's litany of atrocities, fertile minds dream the stuff up, and lesser minds lap it up.
Oh my God, I get it now... after listening and reading the entire testimony that Kerry gave... He wants to turn the GWOT into another Vietnam.... Is he nuts... We cannot, must not lose this war, there can be no truce, there can be no consessions. If we show weakness as in vietnam we will embolden the fundamentalist Islam and we will fall victim to 9/11 ten thousand fold.
This seems like a nightmare... How can this guy seriously consider leading the country at this time in our history, or rather how could the American people be duped into even listening to this guy...His ideas of pulling the troops out, setting dates, can't people see this is exactly what he is trying to do in Iraq and probably Afghanistan too...
I finally get it now...
C-SPAN normally has quotas on call ins in order to make sure they have a wide diversity of opinions expressed. I remember fifteen and more years ago before they had the quotas. Back then, most of the callers were almost as conservative as Freepers who post comments on Free Republic. I rather suspect that the audience for C-SPAN is considerably more conservative than the the call-in population. After the 1994 elections, there were studies that showed the more people watched Congress on C-SPAN, the more disenchanted they were with how DemocRATS were running Congress and later to vote for Republicans.
You GOT it. Exactly. Rinse. Wash. Repeat.
It's in the book. Ted Kennedy introduced him to Sen Hart (who was on the committee)some days before. A speechwriter who'd worked for Robert Kennedy (Walinsky) helped him rehearse the speech as well as write it.
For some time the only video being shown was of Kerry's Senate testimony where he comments on the "Winter Soldier's" but does not himself say he committed war crimes. This has given rise to (yet another) Democrat lie that Kerry nevery claimed that he himself committed war crimes. This is what the white haired burn-out case is talking about.
Unfortunately for him--and Kerry--Kerry did say that he'd committed war crimes personally. That definitely occurred during his interview on Face the Nation. I can't remember (it's been a really long time) but I believe he also said he was a war criminal in a debate with John O. on the Dick Cavett show. About the only time I ever watched that weasel little Dickie Cavett. But I digress. For the last couple of days the lefties have been saying "no no he never copped to crimes himself." But those of us who lived through it remember otherwise, and there are transcripts on the record.
But I don't think Sean is saying he has a video of Kerry actually in commission on one of his self-confessed "war-crimes."
That may be true .. but it is 180 degrees from what Kerry is saying now .. he would have gone to war even if he knew there was no WMD there.
My take: If Kerry were in charge and had really gone into Iraq, he would have done exactly what Johnson did. He would not have supported the troops. He would have left them there without the proper equipment, and he would have pulled them out after they were totally demoralized. Iraq would have imploded and America would be under attack the same as Israel.
What's amazing to me is that while Kerry was so upset about what was going on in Vietnam .. it was Johnson who was in charge - another democrat. However, when Kerry got home Nixon was in office and it was easy to blame him for everthing .. which is so typically liberal.
bump!!!!
