Now I know why the Swiftvets resent those damn medals.

Apparently he didn't think much of them either, of course he threw them before he kept them, right?

I am glad to have had the opportunity to record this event, and to be able to examine it more deliberately later.
The highlights for me were the repeated attempt at race-baiting, and the statement that made me laugh out loud, that "we", including himself, presumably, were the greatest violators of the Geneva conventions in the world!
That he had a plan and an agenda is obvious. At one point, when he took off on his planned propaganda, he had to be reminded that he was not answering the question.

And throughout the whole event, going through my mind, was the nagging question... what did he leave the service as? a lt. jg? Why did he even qualify as an "expert" of four months to testify before a senate committee? If he spent any time as a Swift Boat commander, how did he have time to "witness" first hand the plethora of negative "experiences" he was eager to share? How many speechwriters did he have the night before making up all that BS?
