War 'Brother' denies Kerry bought loyalty (Gardner claims crew mate had change of heart about Kerry)

In an interview with WorldNetDaily, "Band of Brothers" member James Wasser flatly denied he told a former swiftboat crew mate that he had always despised their skipper John Kerry but "came around" after a persuasive, private meeting with the senator at the beginning of the presidential campaign.

Gunnersmate Steve Gardner, featured in the latest Swift Boat Veterans for Truth television ad challenging Kerry's war record, has been claiming on numerous TV and radio talk shows in the past month that Wasser made that statement to him in a telephone conversation in early March.

Is that just a typo for PCF-94, or are they now trying to place Kerry on a boat that we haven't heard of before?

The media is completely uninterested in what kind of compensation Kerry's Band of Brothers are getting, or what kind of promises have been made to them if Kerry wins. It's just spun that they love Kerry so much, they're willing to just show up and campaign with him.

He shouldn't have any first-hand knowledge. Wasser wasn't on PCF 94. No one on PCF 94 remembers the boat going into Cambodia. And Kerry's own diary contradicts the claim.

Confirmed. Another crewmember on Kerry's boat that he wasn't in Cambodia in either January or February. Christmas in Cambodia is DEFINITELY a lie.

Wasser was on PCF 44. He only personally knows Kerry's whereabouts in January -- unless Kerry was still on PCF 44 come February. Kerry was supposed to have transferred to PCF 94 after January 29.

According to Coastal Division 11's Command History, PCF 44 was on a mission on January 21. Nothing else was listed for that boat until February 6 (although the Kerry campaign scanned the report poorly, and January 26-28 are missing). PCF 44 was next listed as being on missions on February 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12.

PCF 94 doesn't appear in the Command History from January 30 until February 18 (although we know it was on Rach Giang Thanh patrol missions on February 13 and 14 from the after-action and spot reports).

So if Kerry was immediately assigned to PCF 94 after Lt. Peck was injured, what was he doing from January 21 until February 13? More R&R for the best Swift Boat Lieutenant?
