As pissed off as this makes me, I can only say that I'm glad my business commitments will keep me out of New York as an 'anti-protester' next week. These are the BROWN SHIRTS of the Hitler era, reborn as the America's progressives. Brute force is the only way to deter them IMHO...

I wish they had just taken the cruise ship as was talked about at first.

I guess I'm really naive because I just can't imagine people acting like this. I've see the occasional in your facers, mooners, and run of the mill malcontents but this is crazy.

I live in Washington State, and believe me the protesters did not make a favorable impression in Seattle, but since Clinton supported the World Trade Organization, the connection to radical Democrats was not made. The politically correct Seattle force did take a beating for their handling of the events, though.

I am hoping for a reaction closer to that of the 1968 Democrat convention when the moderate Democrats were forced to disassociate themselves with the radical anti-war protesters. Bush is actually being very clever calling on Kerry to disavow these people before the convention.
