We expect the "rock stars" and "hollywood" to support Kerry -- Even DNC media productions like "West Wing" -- but today even the TV soft-porn shows joined the battle.
On "The Young and the Restless" today the backdrop for the characters was a large (looked like about 6" high letters) "ROCK THE VOTE" promoting the Springsteen Neo-Woodstock groupies Kerry Kampaign Koncert tour!
If the DNC, the "legitimate" Media and Soros' "Move-ON" are the "stars" of the genre, then now the soaps are the "fluffers" getting them ready for their big moments.
[ps. don't give me a hard time for seeing it, it was on an unwatched TV as I went by on the way to get a cup of coffee]
According to NewsMeat, the Bells (creators of Y&R) are pretty much Republicans. She has given to Mostly Fraud and Feinstein, but other than that, they support Republicans--including Bush. Of course, how much input do they have on a day-to-day basis?
I think Rock the Vote may be a MTV creation which is owned by Viacom, which also owns CBS. Actually all of the CBS soaps have featured Rock the Vote posters on their sets in recent weeks
Heather Tom of Y&R is a huge lefty and has appeared on Joe Scarborough's show several times arguing the lib talking points. But she's a hottie, so I just turn the sound down and enjoy. :^)
Heather's now on One Life to Live. I have been a soap fan for years! Don't think I've ever told anyone on here that.
By the way, H and C is having one of the porn stars for Kerry on. Should be interesting. Kerry certainly attracts the class of our society....:)
By the way, I may be wrong, but I think this newest group for Kerry is a little bit more extreme than soap opera. From what they said on H and C, it's PORN stars for Kerry. Should find out more later in the segment.
