"They'd linked up on Free Republic, the ultra-right-wing Internet site and, well, when these people link up, stuff like "Communists for Kerry" is one of their more polite ideas."
Yeah - just a snip from a "main-stream" "journalist" who thinks that CNN/ABC/CBS/NBC are in the center and always tell the truth. At least he did this in his column, and not in a news report, though that would be expected.
GOOD JOB NY FREEPERS! (and I hope that you all showered right after getting away from that crowd!)

Communists For Kerry - one of the funniest parodies I've ever seen. Check out their site, but don't be drinking anything near the monitor...

Way to go Freepers! Bump!!!

They just don't have a sense of humor, do they?
Great job, Freepers.

They slipped into the march and nobody seemed to notice, object or recognize that they weren't actually communists and weren't actually for Kerry. THAT'S THE POINT.
Good luck going to a pro-Bush rally and holding up a 'Communists for Bush' sign with Stalin's smiling mug on it. (Fashion tip: Wear Kevlar. Lots of Kevlar.)

They'd linked up on Free Republic, the ultra-right-wing Internet site and, well, when these people link up, stuff like "Communists for Kerry" is one of their more polite ideas.

amazing how leftists (as exemplified by the nitwit columnist you quoted) don't recognize satire...I guess it requires more forebrain functions than they have to spare after walking and breathing are taken into consideration....

They'd linked up on Free Republic, the ultra-right-wing Internet site and, well, when these people link up, stuff like "Communists for Kerry" is one of their more polite ideas. Silly liberal, don't fuss. I'd be cranky too if my side had no sense of humor. I'd be even crakier if my side was a pack of unwashed, illiterate hippies chanting inane slogans and making vapid, witless signs with crayola markers.

I wonder when the last time was that this paper described a left wing enterprise as ultra-left wing. One thing that I almost overlooked was that this vegetable made no bones about the fact that the protesters didn't notice these folks weren't for real. Like, why would they? Did this loon see the real signs?
They slipped into the march and nobody seemed to notice, object or recognize that they weren't actually communists and weren't actually for Kerry.
Now there's the real sin. They weren't actually communists for Kerry. Can God every forgive them. Perhaps so, but the Post Gazette won't.
