Any thing that the pentagon does is going to blamed on Bush. If the pentagon says one negative word about Kerry then Kerry is going to say BUSH is behind it. And most of the American public will buy into that because they figure Bush as the commander and cheif is pulling the strings. With that in mind...I don't believe for one minute that GW or the lead republicans are going let that happen. I hope I am wrong for sake of all of those who hold their medals honorably.

More likely Brinkley is setting up for the Navy investigation to declare "no fraud", just "typographical errors." With that, the Swift Boat Vets are "demonstrated" to be false, even though it really shows no such thing. This smells.
