Hospitality Thread for FReepers Coming to the Kerry Lied Rally in D.C. this Weekend

I attended the press conference for the rally today. I'll have a report with photos posted later today or this evening. It was interesting.

I'm REALLY looking forward to hearing all about this rally. It will be interesting to see how much, if any, MSM coverage it gets.

I surely hope someone has written or called C-Span and request they cover this and also the Veterans rally against Kerry to be held the same day.

Plan on attending the Rally and the gathering at the Russian embassy. Can't wait to meet the famous DC FReepers!

Thanks. People in the D.C. area have been leaving flowers at the embassy since the heinous murders of the children. Folks have also been signing a condolence book there. The sidewalk in front of the embassy is open enough to hold to a small gathering without causing disruptions.

We look forward to meeting you. There is no close Metro subway stop to the embassy. Metro bus does run up Wisconsin Avenue, however. Street parking is available, but you may have to park a few blocks away.

Is there any information as to if C-Cpan will give coverage? I know with their liberal bent, it is likely a bridge too far, but hope springs eternal.
