LOS ANGELES, CA - Today, Bush-Cheney '04 announced its California Jewish Coalition. Dennis Prager, nationally syndicated talk radio personality, joined Bush-Cheney '04 California Jewish Coalition State Co-Chairman Bruce Bialosky, Los Angeles Jewish Coalition Chairwoman Connie Friedman and area Jewish Coalition supporters at a press conference in Los Angeles to show their support for President Bush. "Under President Bush's leadership America has been firmly committed to the safety of the Israeli people," said Bialosky. "As with most issues, John Kerry has pandered on the safety of Israel. Depending on which crowd he is facing he has called the security fence a 'barrier to peace' and a 'legitimate act of self defense.' This type of political expediency proves Kerry's lack of understanding about the serious issues we face today." "We're organizing across California to get Jewish Americans on board the Bush-Cheney campaign," said Friedman. "We're registering new voters, encouraging them to talk to neighbors and friends, and on November 2nd we will ensure these voters get to the polls - because every vote in this election is crucial." "In addition to President Bush's strong commitment to Israel, the President understands terrorism threatens American Jews on two fronts - as Americans and Jews - and he is working to bring an end to terrorism both at home and abroad," said Bialosky. "The Jewish community needs to stand up and acknowledge this with their votes in November." The Bush-Cheney '04 California Jewish Coalitoin joins a list of statewide coalitions that will help build a network of grassroots support and serve as messengers for the President's re-election campaign. The committee includes members of the Jewish community from across the state of California.
well, someone must think Calif. is in play
Evidently that would be Dennis. Bush has been here once since March.
California is DEFINITELY in play. California will be a big surprise to the lefties. There is an excellent chance that California will go to Bush.
