Marjorie Connell — widow of the late Lt. Col. Jerry Killian, the reported author of memos suggesting that Bush did not meet the standards for the Texas Air National Guard — questions whether the documents are real on tonight's NIGHTLINE, sources tell DRUDGE.

I WAS ANGRY, BECAUSE HERE THEY ARE GOING BACK AND PULLING RECORDS OF A MAN WHO IS DECEASED TWENTY YEARS, WHO IS NOT HERE TO EXPLAIN WHAT ANY OF THESE DOCUMENTS SAID OR SUPPOSED TO HAVE SAID, AND I JUST FOUND IT APPALLING. I WAS SICK THAT HERE WITHOUT WARNING HIS PICTURES ARE UP THERE, HIS NAME IS BEING BATTLED BACK AND FORTH AND I, LIVID I GUESS IS A BETTER WORD FOR IT."

I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS HIS WORDS, MY LATE HUSBAND'S WORDS."

HE ALWAYS KNEW WHERE EVERYTHING WAS, AND IF HE NEEDED TO PULL IT OUT OF HIS WALLET ON A LITTLE NOTE OR SOMETHING, BUT HE JUST DIDN'T TAKE MANY NOTES."
You missed very little. They focused more on Cheney's "Elect Kerry, we'll get hit" comment than the forgeries. They are trying to create the "Everybody plays dirty" impression. Now they have the dirtbag Lehane on.
And they had very little of the Killians interview-- and that was only audio, no video.

Why are the GOP better at smash-mouth campaigning? They do it every single day -- basically saying that GOP stays on message. eye for eye responses demanding in modern campaigning.

Lehane is criticizing the Bush campaign for getting up every morning and knowing what they want to say. I guess that's hard for Kerry who doesn't know from hour to hour.
