Statement by Santa Fe City Councilman David Pfeffer, Democrat for Bush
George W. Bush ^ | September 13, 2004

Posted on 09/13/2004 6:21:16 PM PDT by RWR8189

WASHINGTON, DC – Santa Fe City Councilman David Pfeffer, a Democrat for Bush, today issued the following statement:

“Democrats across New Mexico are supporting President Bush because of his clear agenda for a safer world and a more hopeful America. President Bush has nearly tripled the amount of homeland security funding since taking office and federal funding for state and local first responders is up 680 percent since 2001. John Kerry’s troubling pre-9/11 approach to the War on Terror stands in stark contrast to the President’s forward-looking strategy of bringing the fight to the enemy. New Mexico voters aren’t going to trust a candidate who has taken countless positions on the Iraq War and even voted against $87 billion in funding to equip our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan with critical supplies like ammunition and body armor despite previously saying such a vote would be ‘irresponsible.’”

As time goes on more and more dems will do the same and John Kerry will do for the democrat party in 2004 what Bill Clinton did in 1994. Massacre it.

LOL, I can't wait.

Another Democrat for Bush. I hear many Democrats do not like John Kerry that much.

I have yet to hear of a single Republican for Kerry but there are probably a hundred elected Democrats that have publicly come out for Bush.

Ralph Hall represents North Texas in the House. Funny picture. Zell Miller has long left them and the Democrats left him.

How can a man who was a traitor to this country, and voted against everything to defend it even get the nomination in the first place? (overlooking clinton, of course)

Is Santa Fe a liberal city sort of like Austin and San Francisco?

Santa Fe city council passed a "living wage" and a resolution it would not cooperate with the INS.

A Santa Fe Democrat City Councilman for Bush indicates the Rapture is nigh.

You can probably skip your mortgage payment.
