Maybe Zacharias Moussaoui is a bigger fish than first believed ? Or maybe the Taliban official speaking anonymously just feeds the reporters some fantasy story (look, I was so important I knew all these things regarding OBL, etc).

Al Qaeda communicated with French-speakersCould Teresa's statement in French at the DNC been some sort of secret signal?
To: Atlantic Friend
As a follow-up, Moussaoui was supposed to be the pilot in another attack on 9/11. And we now suspect only the pilots knew their targets, so basically the pilots were natural cell leaders for the attacks. Moussaoui might have important things to say.

Possibly - although 95+% of Algerians also speak Arabic.
I'm thinking a subSaharan African like someone from Senegal or Mali (few people realize that Timbuktu is becoming a center of radical Islam).

I believe it was a coded trigger that meant: "Release the forged documents to Dan Rather."
