DNC Clings To Disintegrating Docu-Drama in Latest Attack on Bush

Something to Yak About – DNC Clings To Disintegrating Docu-Drama in Latest Attack on Bush
Exhibiting a bizarre display of poor political judgment, the Democratic National Committee launched a scurrilous new attack on President Bush Tuesday, apparently banking their electoral hopes on some documents used in a CBS ’60 Minutes’ report that are increasingly being tagged by experts as bogus. While The Yak is certain the folks at DNC headquarters are leaping with joy over their video assault on the president, the news went over like a lead zeppelin a couple blocks away in the office of Republican National Committee Communications Director Jim Dyke. “The video the Democrats released (Tuesday) is as creative and accurate as the memos they gave CBS,” said Dyke.

DNC Sees Attacks Over Vietnam-Era Service As Boosting Kerry
Now we know why John Kerry and the DNC can’t offer America anything more than 35-year old cheap shots. DNC strategist Howard Wolfson claimed on Fox News Tuesday that the president, “lost 10 points in his credibility numbers,” since the smear campaign ramped up. That ‘splains everything!

National Guard, Reservists Call on Kerry to Apologize
And speaking of The Gang That Couldn’t Spin Straight, the Kerry campaign is now faced with a demand by 20 current and/or former National Guard and Reserve members to “apologize for comments attacking the honorable service of those in the National Guard.” The signatories include Rep. Joe Wilson (SC) and 19 other House members who are or did serve in the Guard. Remember, John Kerry is the same guy who, back in February, equated National Guard service with fleeing to Canada to dodge the draft. And ya, The Yak has the audio for that. Just hit ‘Reply’ and we’ll send in two-shakes.

The Final Yak
“Any mention of John Kerry’s votes for higher taxes and against vital weapons programs will be met with the worst kind of personal attacks. Such desperation is unbecoming of American Presidential politics, and Senator Kerry will pay a price for it at the polls.” (SOURCE: RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie, in his September 8 “Brace Yourself” letter to congressional leaders)

Well, if the DNC runs an ad that is basically proven to be False, the RNC should start running their own ads based on the Swiftvets.

about 20 million Dollars worth.

Is it just me, or are others bothered by the fact that on all of the shows, the hosts allow the Dem spinners to say that the National Guard story is "payback" for the Swift Vets. They then go on to say that Bush and the Bush Cheney Campaign & RNC brought this on by attacking Kerry through the Swift Vets. To date I have seen NO ONE challenge them on this by pointing out that all Kerry attacks were through the Swift Vets and were never condoned by the RNC or the campaign, whereas the Bush NG Attacks have actually come from the DNC (who is running some of the commercials themselves) and the Democrat leaders. Letting the Dem spinners throw this out there unquestioned leads naive viewers to assume that indeed the Kerry attacks are directly from the RNC & Bush Cheney. Can't the RNC come out with "talking points" to be used when this happens?

Nope I see and hear it too....ALSO, when they allow the Dem spinners to say that the Swift Boat Vets have all been found to be frauds or whatever word they use, liars.. and then dont call them on that....I did hear the Media Research Center guy last night on H&C on Fox grab that nutzie guy with it and also getting him on the fact the Dems are calling for "answers" on memos based on forged lies.. as if President Bush is ducking something.....

Liberals do not think rationally or logically. In fact, anyone capable of doing so cannot be a Liberal; it would be impossible.

Their "normal" mode of "thinking" goes something like this: "We don't need no stinkin' proof because Everyone knows the Republicans are really behind the Swiftvet's ad."

A pathetic way to go through life but it helps to explain why they are so childish.

I saw Brent Bozell on Hannity & Colmes last night, too. I really enjoy his appearances. He doesn't hesitate to yank the liberals up short, especially their little trick of prefacing questions with false assertions, e.g., "Now that the Swift Boat vets' claims have been completely discredited...." blah blah. He always contests the underlying assumption. Brent Bozell, I think, comes off as a pretty sharp guy who isn't about to let the liberals slide on any point.

The reason they're sticking to this is OBVIOUS... They had been coordinating with Rather and dnCBS for months. They had the commercials already created, the air time paid for, the "memos" ready for their scorched earth policy. And then, it happened:

THE PERFECT STORM!!!

Blather ran his report, and before the DNC ads could start playing, there were charges of FORGERIES!!! The Boston Globe, the NY Times, The AP, all of the MEDIA WHORES FOR THE DNC already had their copy done. And then, they were done in! The timing couldn't have been more perfect.

Months of orchestration in the toilet. The DNC and Kerry had no place to go. They had to run the ads now, they had the airtime, the ads already produced, etc. And their front group MoveOn (i.e. the DNC under another name), were all primted.

I want to ask Terry the tool does he know the definition of what a hypocrite is and then ask him to look it up in the dictionary. I doubt he will though b/c he does not want to see his face in the new Websters edition. How can you say the Swiftees and 527s are aiding Bush and Bush should denounce them b/c Kerry served honorably. Bush does so and now you tools are trying to fabricate some horseshit about his NG service, is that not the pot calling the kettle black or what. Are you really that stupid Tool McAssliffe (rhetorical question I apologize). Run your ads, tell your lies, dodge the questions, you are still a loser and a disgrace to the American people by trying to use deceit to win an election. Zell Miller was exactly right when he said the demonrats are caught up in their own manic obsession to remove Bush from office they neglect their own "inconsistencies' as the Tool would say.

brought this on by attacking Kerry through the Swift Vets.

1...Swift Vets = true accusations and real quotes of John Kerry himself....DNC Guard attack = Unsubstantiated attacks.

2...The Dems really believe that the Swift Vets are connected to Bush and that Bush was dishonorable in the Guard.

Election Ivan is coming, and they will find how poorly built this house they've cobbled together really is.

Kerry is a paper tiger. Forged military records.. then Kitty Kelly's pulp fiction.. she was ridiculous on Matthews last night. She made her accusations based on no first person interviews.. it was all gossip.
