On CNN jsut now Judy Woodruff had Adam Clymer and another woman on to examine the "persuadable voters" polls, and man, the spinning was headache-inducing.
Basically, they tried to dance around the fact that Bush had convinced many persuadable voters, therefore logic would dictate that those who are still able to be persuaded one way or another would have FEW Bush-leaning votes--because those have already gone over to Bush, right?
Clymer didn't see it this way. He said a "small" (he may have said "tiny") number went to Bush, but he was not moving the persuadables because of the negative convention, etc.
In other words, convincing persuadables to move from the Persuadables list to Bush...was a BAD thing for Bush!
Yeah, too bad.
Bush has lost momentum.
Just as I was beginning to feel complacent.
(Ah, don't believe that for a minute.)
Are you sure that other . . . um . . . individual was a woman?
Bush was right, he IS an A$$HOLE
Jack
Ok, we know he's an a**hole. Are you also saying he's a p....uh.... never mind.
Adam Clymer and another woman

Congrats, you're the first one to catch that. ;)
What does Dick Cheney have to say about Clymer's spin.
Adam Clymer, second from Left. Definitely a major leaguer. Big time! With "another woman."
Clymer's over-the-top down-and-dirty political analyses when writing for the formerly venerable
New York Times gave rise to the slang word "Clymer" to denote a sunshineless anatomical part
when the original term of art is unavailable in polite company. Can be used in conjunction with the
word "social" as in social clymer to describe unseemly upwardly-outwardly mobile journalists.
