It's Dem sponsored... they don't have enough votes to get it out of committee.

This has NOTHING to do with military manpower requirements.

As an intended-to-fail proposal, it's a straw man set up
so that Kerry+Edwards can promise to oppose it.

As a serious proposal, it has everything to do with
Universal National Service - stealing two years from
every life, then 3, then 4, and why stop there ...

And National Service has nothing to do with service.
It has everything to do with indoctrination of the slaves.

Following is excerpted from a note I wrote to a friend who was freaked-out about this.

This bill is stuck in committee and will stay there. It is a Democrat bill where the intent is not to bolster the armed forces, but to force military service on as many families as possible.

That's how the Democrats want to end war... by forcing any U.S. military action too include draftees.

Senator Hollings is a DEMOCRAT. This was a stunt.

NOBODY co-sponsored the bill.

But you already knew all that.

The DEMONRATS (spelling intentional) are the ones who keep talking about the draft to scare people, pretending that the Republicans want it.

NO Republican said anything about introducing the draft. The Democrats are trying to use this as a scare tactic.
