Below is a link to a website where you can print an application for Absentee Ballot for VA. This document is 11 pages, the actual ballot is page 3 and 4. Other pages show you where to mail or Fax this application, depending on the City or County in which you live.
This is great to send to people who are home-bound or have kids in college that will not bother coming home to vote.

Question:
If someone (living outside the USA and not an American) tested the system by faxing in one of these with fake information to see if they will send a ballot or not, and they send one, and the person exposes the ease of getting a fake ballot, how much trouble would they be in?
I wouldn't do it, but it's a story that needs to be covered I think.
Thank you so much for this information. I was going to have to dig for it.
Anyone know how to get a ballot if you do not have a computer and are not housebound? (That is, you can go and get one and see that they have crossed off your name)?
This kind of information is "worth its' weight"...
Thanks in advance....
Whoops, forget the absentee info on VA. Had not gotten to the very next post which provides info for all States.
Only in Freepeerdom does such efficiency persist. Answers in advance are the norm.....
Kudos!
My Dad is voting via Absentee in New Mexico - for the simple reason that they are counted *first* if recieved prior to the election.
Thus his vote wil hit the airwaves in the first batches of reports.
