The media is starting to act more objectively and responsibly.

Only with regard to stories that don't matter, or that have already been "conceded."

The media is just as biased today as it was yesterday, maybe moreso. It is foolish to think and act as though the media is even a tiny bit objective, except in as much as it presents what facts it chooses to.

Very true.

It is also total nonsnese how the liberal media uses Vietnam service as a litmus test of patriotism. These lib commentators say "Kerry went to Vietnam. Bush and Cheney avoided service. Thus, Kerry showed greater character". One question, folks: Who in their right mind would have wanted to serve in Vietnam? We were not playing to win. It is a bit like Iraq today, where thus far, we have taken only half-measures to defeat the enemy.

Why should Mr. Bush & Mr. Cheney have put their lives in peril, on behalf of a flawed foreign/military policy?
