The Kerry Kampaign and CBS ought to be real concerned about Burkett. He strikes me as unstable and the type who could blurt out some real damaging stuff. Give him time.
That's why Lawyer Van Os has referred him to other attorneys to sue CBS for "defamation of character." Then Burkett's attorney can tell him not to make a peep to the media during the pre-trial and trial phase lest he jeopardize his case. CBS will stall on a civil trial as long as possible, again to keep Burkett quiet, then on the eve of the trial, will suddenly settle with Burkett. Part of the settlement, of course, will be Burkett's silence. CBS is smart: It will use perfectly legal, "legitimate" means to, in effect, pay Burkett off.
Good point, Burkett may transfer some of his hatred from President Bush to his new enemies at CBS. When he does, it will be good to know that he's "unimpeachable".
