I wonder how Wilson discovered this story. It's one of two things. Either the prison contacted Fox News, or CBS sent word somehow, in an effort to villainize Mapes as the eventual sacrificial lamb for Memogate.

I'm leaning towards Rather. Jobs are at stake and it's everyman for himself.

I think the mapes prison story has been floating around for a while, but the MSM didn't want to expose one of their own so it was buried.

...I'm just glad that FOX is actually doing some investigative reporting for once. Aside from FOX's excellent weekend piece on the UN's Oil-for-guns program, they haven't been breaking anything in a long while.

I'm very sure it would be the prison warden who wrote the letter to CBS revoking her access to the prison. You can bet Rather most certainly was not involved in leaking this.
