When he pushed her to the ground, did he say "Can you hear me now?"

Why do I envision a new episode of "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong" on the Dave Chappelle show...?

She actually got arrested for what they call aggravated PO PO, that is P*ssing Off a Police Officer. It seems that she wants to use her pregnancy as a reason that she can act anyway she pleases. I guess she learned differently. I thought that the worst part of the story is how the DC Council member wanted to hang the cop out to dry. They did it with the people who were arrested for eating in the system, and now they are doing it when a loudmouthed b*tch gets nailed.

Why the police try to defend actions like these rather than saying we have bad days and make mistakes too and we are sorry Ms. Aaron is beyond me? John Edwards I guess?

She told the officer he had no right to tell her how to speak into her cell phone.

Another constitutional scholar. Future Supreme Court Justice?

I have a hard time understanding why being a woman or pregnant has to do with it. If a person is invading public space with obscenities...that's all I need to know. Book her!

The cop should have been more sensitive to the woman's culture. I think he ought to attend a "Loud-Mouthed Bitch" sensitivity training course.

Another example of a person "raised in a barn". Respect for other people is a foreign thought for some, never been taught it and never would think about it.

He should arrest her.
If she was talking to loudly on the phone and disturbing others, he had a duty to tell her to tone it down. People like this woman are stupid.
They yell into their cell phones like that helps the person on the other side hear them better, like they were talking into cans tied together with strings.
People are convinced that they have the right to do anything that they like and they don't. You have to obey the law or pay the price.

Everything was proper until he ... "grabbed Aaron by the arm and pushed her to the ground"

He crossed the line into brutality and over-reaction. He should be seriously reprimanded if this is his first offense - or fired if he has a history of this poor training and action.

Wanna bet this is NOT his first offense???

When I'm elected President I'll ban cell phones and disco music, and that'll be the end of that!

I can't believe the amount of FREEpers who are siding with the cop. Did you all read the whole article? She was done talking! The cop pushed her down on her pregnant stomach and put his knee into her back so hard that she got a bruise and went to the hospital for it!

This is the same police force that arrested a woman for finishing a candy bar on the steps down to the Metro (the last of the candy bar was in her mouth as she decended), and fined a 12 year old for eating one french fry. These people didn't do anything criminal. Too often today the police have a power trip and arrest people for just disagreeing with them. I give kudos to this woman who stood up to the ignorant power-hungry thug.

I'd be swearing too if someone were trying to use their authority in that way.
