So given that great logic we are living in a police state. Just because a cop asks you do anything you should do it? I hate when people are talking loud on their cell phones, and think they should be charged with disturbing the peace. I do not think just because a cop asks you need to obey.

What about DUI check points? Do you agree with them? Do they have a right to pull over people at WILL with no reason other than they feel like it? Did you ever get stopped at one... they ask questions like where you were and were you are going?

You give the cops powers they should not have, nor should want... if they want the RESPECT of the citizenry. Respect draws cooperation, fear draws disdain.

The lady shouting on the cellular telephone and DUI/DWI checkpoint are two completely different things. In the cellular phone incident, a specific person was identified as causing a disturbance and she was "called" on it by the police. She was not questioned on her intended travels or to whom she was speaking. No comparison between the two.
