DES MOINES, Iowa -- For the second time this week, errors have been found on absentee ballots in Iowa.
On Tuesday, Secretary of State Chet Culver ordered absentee voting halted in four southeastern Iowa counties after he learned the name of an Associate District Court judge had been left off absentee and general election ballots.
The mistake affects more than 60,000 ballots sent to county auditors in Henry, Lee, Louisa and Des Moines counties earlier this month.
Ohmygod... its FIVE WEEKS until election day, and already the insanity has begun.
There's going to be so much fraud done by the Democrats in this election and they will be the ones suing for a recount. In general they are a disgusting, souless, conscienceless, vile group of people.
It does have me worried.
"There's going to be so much fraud done by the Democrats in this election and they will be the ones suing for a recount."
Uhh! Wasn't it the Dems that sued for a recount in 2000?
Yest it was - I think the point was that the same people who cause the problems are the ones that try to sue over those same problems and blame someone else...
Duh!
Well if a candidate had been left off the ballots, you had to halt the voting...what else was the election official to do? I'm not sure if this necessarily means that fraud was happening in this case or just extreme stupidity!

How much do you want to bet the judge is running UNOPPOSED?
It sounds like a RAT dirty trick to keep the military from getting their ballots back in time!
In a lot of cases, it will be tricky to determine whether it's voter fraud or gross incompetence.
It is a simple 'retain' or 'not retain' question
>>Ballots printed and sent to the auditors do not include an item asking voters if they want to retain Judge Gary Noneman in his current office.
Hardly a strong enough point to DENY our military from voting!
Secretary of State Chet Culver ordered absentee voting halted ... and SURPRISE SURPRISE, he's a democRAT
Do you know if the military will be denied their vote?
