...the best of Ithaca results:
Best Republican: No such thing (2nd place: Mark Finkelstein)
Ouch.
At least Mark was able to be philosophical in a humorous vein about finishing second to a non entity:
"Waiting for the Ithaca Times photographer to arrive, I was standing in the street in front of my home, holding a Bush-Cheney lawn sign," recalls Finkelstein. "A woman passing by in a car flipped me the bird. That sums up nicely the prestige associated with being the Best Republican in Ithaca."
Congratulations to Mr. F. It can't be easy to be the best man in the City of Evil.
Well it is nice to know that there is still one Republican still living in Ithaca. My son could only take one semester at Ithaca College and had to retreat, beaten back by liberal foolishness. There is just so much one can endure, after all. Good luck to Mr. F.
Thats OK. The democrats best candidate for President was "Unnamed Democrat".
bump
You forgot "From parts unknown"
My friend john and i are the biggest republicans in Ithaca. I have lived here all my life. I currently run the NYRA www.nyra.us and that says it all. We have a protest scheduled for tomorrow at the police station due to the removal of the US Flag. I am calling all the local media stations, hopefully you'll see me in the Journal, but I doubt it, why would they print that???</p>
