I've posted the same thing before.

In 2008, the GOP staffers negotiating the debates have got to lay their foot down and say NO to certain moderators like Jim Lehrer.

This is the first step to having a true non-partisan debate.

Simple solution...

Two questioners...One selected by each party. Each party select the questioner for the other candidate. THAT would be interesting!

Or at the very least, have moderators who are considered impartial (Hume, Angle, Stossel) ask alternating questions.

You're never going to have a non-partisan debate. The real answer is to have two admitted partisans ask the questions -- one from the left and one from the right. Currently, all the debates simply have a liberal ask all the questions.
